Lesson Task – Editing a Photograph

  • Use a colour photo of your choice and create the following colour effects (as per Nigel French’s video) – you should hand in four separate works of the same photo with the following effects:
  • Create a fluorescent duotone

The chosen colors here were «pink» and black.

  • Apply a monochrome look
  • Split toning of the image
  • Freestyle: Create a colour effect of your choice

As for the last one I wanted to implement the infrared filter, but I realized that it had to be a color effect with capital C. So I added a pink to white gradient to the picture.

Now, I have never played around with photo editing in photoshop before, so there are of course several measures I could have implemented to enhance the pictures. Yet, as a start this is not too bad.
